Rare Record Sleeve As A Buy It Now
This early Victor Tamagno picture sleeve is very rare and hard to locate. I have only ever found one in all my years collecting. As a $80 BIN with free shipping within the US.....a nice deal and even more so if you have the loose record. I have three records and only one sleeve. https://www.ebay.com/itm/224823548604?_ ... 3a83d4c3b1

Interesting that the Victor cover describes Tamagno as "Under exclusive contract for life".
Although his recordings were issued by Victor in the USA, they were all recorded in Italy by the Gramophone & Typewriter Ltd.
His contract, signed in December 1902, was the first to include royalties for every record sold.

Not a very long "contract for life". He died in 1905 at the age of 54. I'm surprised the sleeve is still for sale. I have seen these sell in the hundreds with the record.epigramophone wrote: Mon Feb 07, 2022 7:08 am Interesting that the Victor cover describes Tamagno as "Under exclusive contract for life".
