Great News!!!

Brian Parlier with ThePhonographShop will be on-hand at this show. If you have a large, heavy order that is not cost-effective to ship, here's your opportunity to pick it up. Also, a great opportunity to meet him in person.

If there is something specific that you would like for him to bring, please let him know and he bring it with him.

We're getting a good response, so if you're considering getting a table for the show please do so as soon possible. This will be first come first serve.

Thanks,
Bob

I learned last night from the show's organizer's that there a limited number of discounted CAMPS/AWA rooms remaining at the Sheraton show site; these rooms are available for $115 a night, considerably less than what you'd pay if you were booking a room there without a discount. If you're coming into town from out of the area, and you want to stay at the show site and receive the block rate, you need to phone the hotel directly; I don't think the rate is available online. Also, you need to request the "Carolina Chapter AWA rate" of $115 per night and make sure they've confirmed you've received the rate before you get off the phone with them.

FYI: I believe that today is the last day that discounted rooms can be booked at the Sheraton Airport Charlotte, which is the show hotel. Also, pre-registration for discounted tables ends on March 12 (postmark date).

I took a few pics on the last day. There were more radio collectors in attendance(probably close to 300,) but something we can sure build on. Overall I thought it was a great show.
