Columbia Q Reprocucer

Post by columbia1spring »

I need to be schooled on Columbia floating reproducers

Columbia Q Black Base

Ok..... I have this model Q and I read, reread, and read again the article above and I can’t figure out if my Q came with
this reproducer on this machine. The machine is fully operational, reproducer raises and lowers. I think, and may be wrong, I think I have a number 5 and don’t know if it’s correct! All pictures I find on google don’t show what I have. Possibly an upgrade?

According to Hazelcorn, the second style Q came with the #7, or D-2B, reproducer, which had a centrally mounted stylus instead of a stylus bar.
