Edison Standard Model B 411093

Post by Wagnerian »

I'm helping a local country house rennovate their Edison Standard Model B.

Is it possible to identify when Serial number 411093 actually left the factory?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Tim,

According to Edison sales data, Standard #411093 left the factory in February 1907.

Sorry to bug you again George, as you have been so helpful but is it possible to say when Edison Opera Serial Number 1507 left the factory?

Many thanks for your help.

Sorry Tim, but the known Edison sales data stops after May 1908. The Opera was introduced in November 1911, and Frow cites production having reached 1234 by the end of February 1912. Based on that, it would seem that Opera #1507 should date from March or April 1912.

Sorry I can't be more precise.

Best,
