Thanks everyone for the fun gentle jabs. :D I'll probably have a few at the Midwest Expo for fun. Also, Gourd-O-Horns will be breaking into the disc market with horns for rear mount Victors. Move over Nipper!

You might be on to something... You could glue gourds from small to large for a continually expanding sound chamber. If you took advantage of the natural twists and turns you'd end up with a colorful jumble of gourds.

The much anticipated official Gourd-O-Horn for Victors is now a reality. It's a feast for the eye as well as the ear.

Someone should study the effect of this shape on the sound waves. First it has a pseudo-spherical chamber, then the expanded horn, with convex shape, which modifies the standard always expanding shape of the morning glory type of horn. Made in wood, this surely kills the somewhat disturbing typical nasal sound of acoustic machines, and those penetrating and ear-breaking ringing tones of some records. The overall effect must be very pleasant.
Jerry, why don't you present is with a YouTube video of this Victor Gourdaphone playing a well known acoustic record? It would be great!
