The Peerless went from Florida to a collection in Canada, where it remains as far as I know.

Thanks George for pointing us to your book. I have all of them and they are excellent resources. (I just need to look at them once in awhile). I'm going to go grab the "Phonos with Flair" and have a better look at that decal!

George,
Yes, thanks for posting that! Flair is the only one of your books I don't have!
Bill,
Keen eye you have there! I wonder if the 'Banner' is an oak 'Opera', or if the 'Opera' was available in two wood selections?

Hopefully someone will read this and come up with a picture or some information about the Banner. Here's the one piece of literature I could find on US machines. This is for the Junior. You can see it cost $30. I'm pretty sure I have a similar advert for the Banner but no luck finding it so far.JohnM wrote:

Where this company was solvent for such a short time,(4 yrs)you have to wonder what the ratio of out side horned vs. internal horns were. I've only had the good fortune of seeing a few of their internal horn machines at shows I've attended, and they were pricey. I imagine the outside horn production was short as the trend was moving towards the more compact internal horn. I had a REX about 10 yrs ago but I foolishly sold it.

As long as we have spent so much time on the US topic I thought I could just as well post some better pics of my Junior. Thanks to David for helping. There was something wrong with the files and I could not upload. He fixed it!

I am currently working on a U.S. Opera and will add pictures to this thread for reference when I finish working on it. For now, this is an interesting pamphlet that appears to have been distributed originally to dealers of U.S. products and shows the different prices of their lineup as well as wood options.
Also for reference, here is a picture of the U.S. Grand.
I will post pictures of the Opera when I get it back together.
