Won a Victor O phonograph from Donley Auction

Post by Edisonfan »

So, i participated in Donley’s auction on antique phonographs. Place a bid of $700.00 for a Victor O phonograph, and won!

Nice, Paul! I always did like those little machines. The Victrola No. 2 is a nice upgrade. Enjoy it! :D

Very nice. Reasonable price.

I forgot about the auction. How was it?

It was good! My lot had a lot of people bidding on it. I had a maximum of $700.00, and won! I put in an early bid before the auction. This is my first open horn machine. I was deciding between this and a Victor 1, and went with this machine, as it was smaller than a Victor 1.

It's very cute, and the No. 2 reproducer is (as George said) a very fine upgrade. I think you're going to have fun with it!

Wish I'd bid on some of the little Columbia/Oxford BV's.

O and I was talking with Jerry B yesterday about a Vic o and I said this model looks like a VV-IV with an external horn. Jerry agreed!
