I'm not sure if it is appropriate to talk about these records here so if anyone has a problem I will delete the thread. I am selling some of my transcription 16 inch records only because I need the money to fund a new machine (hopefully will talk more about that later in the Machines section). I still do not have a record player capable of playing these, so I cant speak to the sound quality. Anyway I started the bidding at $0.99 on eBay. All together there are 12.

Re: ARMED FORCES RADIO 16" RADIO TRANSCRIPTION
When I was working at my college radio station back in the 1980s, we still had the old military surplus turntables that would play these. On my show, "Those Sensational 78s", I would occasionally feature some of the transcription discs. I believe our turntables were Armed Forces Radio surplus from the Korean war. I wish I had one today

I wish I could play them
All the machines that I find that can play them or either too expensive or they are the portable ones with speakers attached, which I do not want.
