Here are some dimensions. It is a simple ⅜” shaft with one end turned down to ¼” and contains two 3/32” holes for the cross pins that secure the two bevel gears.
I have these dimensions on hand because of an ongoing project to make replacement index assemblies available later in the year. Mark
