For sale is a really fine example of an early high end disc phonograph.
The Columbia AH was one of the top of the line disc machines that Columbia began offering circa 1903. This machine came out of a collection in Worcester. I have rebuilt the reproducer, cleaned up the cabinet and made minor adjustments to the motor.
Included is the rare matching Herzog disc cabinet/stand.
Asking $2500

I see your Victor 0, HMV Junior Monarch is in the background of one of your photos. I had seen it on Facebook Marketplace and posted it in the eBay-Craigslist category, (link is below). There has been some debate regarding the decal and whether or not it is an HMV. If you would, please take a look at the thread and settle the debate. Thanks

Unrelated, I love Marblehead. My father and I built a Marblehead Trainer sailing dinghy back in the mid 60s. I have sailed and kayaked that area. Beautiful.

Ha! I saw it too, and wondered if it was the same machine. Yes, could you weigh in on the thread Django referenced, please? If it's a replacement decal, the purists will howl, in spite of the fact it's easily rectified. But the horn seems definitely Euro, so we'd like to see more!Django wrote: Wed Apr 06, 2022 4:47 pm I see your Victor 0, HMV Junior Monarch is in the background of one of your photos. Beautiful AH, incidentally. I'd think it should sell quickly.
EDIT: Looks like Django somehow copied the wrong link. This one here is the one:
