Ebay: A Couple of Diamond Discs!
I saw this ad on eBay. Is it a deal? I guess it depends on how you look at it! https://www.ebay.com/itm/294924968862

Re: Ebay: A Couple of Diamond Discs!
The hoarder in me wants to give him an offer to see if I too could be an owner of 18,000+ edison records, but then reason sets in and a simple question bubbles up to the top of my thoughts... Where would I possibly store these things that wouldn't require paying a storage fee?
I just don't have the space even though I have the desire.

Certainly it's a temptation... Maybe Kurt Nauck could take this, or someone with an empty storage building!

Keep in mind the seller has zero feedback.

About 15 years ago I bought a Circassian Walnut VV-XVIII on e-Bay from a seller in Las Vegas with zero feedback. One of the nicest machines I bought from pictures.

This collection has a story, I think?

That's less than a quarter per record...

I think this guy tried to sell these here several years ago but he didn't respond to anything beyond initial contact.
18,000 Diamond Discs is insane when you consider there are maybe 4,000 titles at most. Someone is to be stuck with thousands and thousands of completely unsalable records that weigh several tons. No thanks.

I remember corresponding with the seller to see if there were any electrics. I think they had been picked, but I honestly can't remember for sure. It's a shame BYU deaccessioned this collection.
