WANTED: Drive belt for Colombia Q
I'd be grateful for information about where I could find a good, appropriate drive belt for my Columbia Q Graphophone. Thank you!

Don't you just make one the same as any belt used on other phonographs?
I believe MicaMonster (Wyatt) here on the forum sells the appropriate leather lacing for belts, but it's probably available from any of the bigger phonograph parts suppliers listed here under "Links".

Thank you! That wouldn't surprise me, but I wasn't sure (for example) if a certain width was recommended, and if that width differed from the standard width of belts on Edison machines.

IIRC, the belting for a Columbia is slightly different width than than the usual Edison belting.gramophoneshane wrote: Sun May 08, 2022 1:53 am Don't you just make one the same as any belt used on other phonographs?

Also, IIRC, Wyatt transferred his belting business to Brian at the Phonograph Shop. Both Brian and Wyatt are members and can be reached via PM or their websites for more info.
