The secondary shaft off a Victrola XII is bent where are my finger is pointing. Does anyone have a straight one available?
Thanks, everyone!

Re: Wanted! Victrola XII secondary gear shaft
Could have a machine shop make up a new one but why not straighten the one you have. Collet chuck it up in a lathe to rotate the shaft and with a soft hammer tap where needed to straighten. Using this method, you should be able to straighten the shaft to .001 of an inch out of true or better. The people who started up Ron S. Phonograph parts supply company might be a possible source to have this done if you choose to go that direction.

I would also suggest straightening the one you have. I have done it in the past. It takes a little time and patience.
