Re: WANTED: Edison lateral adaptor
If you're after the adaptor manufactured by the Edison company, those were only made for a very short time and are quite rare and expensive.Josh_boro20 wrote: Sat Jun 11, 2022 12:38 pm Hello, I am looking for a genuine Edison lateral adaptor

Edison decided that selling a lateral adaptor would eat into Diamond Disc sales so stopped manufacturing them after only a couple months if I remember correctly.
Non genuine adaptors are plentiful of course, so you shouldn't have any trouble getting one of those, although some makes and models play better than others.

Re: WANTED: Edison lateral adaptor
You'd be extremely lucky if you can find one.
I think the only example I recall ever seeing for sale was on eBay USA about 20 yrs ago.
I don't remember just what it sold for now but I think it was around the $800-1000 range, so pretty crazy money.
Someone else here with a better memory than I have might know for sure.
Of course there also may have been examples sold since then that I'm not aware of.

Re: WANTED: Edison lateral adaptor
I do hope I can come across one, I would be willing to ever pay a finders fee if a genuine Edison adaptor can be located for me. I want to pair this with my a-450 and be able to play the needle types.
