WANTED: Transport from Maryland to Arizona

Recently purchased a table-model Pathé with an exposed diffusor (not the same as an American Actuelle). It will be packed well, but I’m hoping to find transport other than through UPS or USPS to ensure it’s safe arrival from across the continent. Is anyone able to help move it along, even incrementally? It’s close to Washington, DC and I am in central Arizona. I don’t require door delivery — can meet to pick-up along I-40/I-10/I-17 corridors. I told you shipping would be a pain with that one! Do you think a moving company could help? Like those rent a Uhaul things but for transport state to state?

I’ve shipped many phonographs in 55 years with a variety of carriers. This one is delicate due to the 107 years-old paper cone. I’m going with the gentlest method first, before I have to ship it. I’m still haunted by the photo that I saw once of a wooden horn in a shipping box that had a forklift tine run clean through it.
