Found: Tracking bar and half-nut for Edison triumph
I am currently looking for a tracking bar and half nut for my triumph to replace the worn out one that won’t track. It must have the top adjustment piece. The ones on eBay are an outrageous price and in order to keep peace in the family (as uncle Josh says) so I can also afford groceries and keep my family happy, Im asking here first!

Re: WANTED: Tracking bar and half-nut for Edison triumph
Andy, have you contacted George V at Great Lakes regarding what you need?
I'm sure his price will be far more reasonable than the frogman on eBay.
I had a look at APSCO and they've got new half nuts listed at $18.00 and personally I think you're better off getting a new one because a used one is going to have some degree of wear.
A new ones going to be a little easier to seat on the feed screw as well.
I tried checking Wyatt's musical Americana but I can't seem to access his parts list on my phone for some reason so it might be worth trying to access it yourself to see what Wyatt charges.
Your half nut bar appears to be just fine I think, so I wouldn't necessarily replace it.
The part I'd contact George about is pictured below.
I don't know the correct name for that part, but I've been calling it the top pressure adjustment plate.
Perhaps you can copy the pic and send it to George either by email or to his phone so he knows exactly what part you need.
I noticed on eBay, he's listed the half nut on the bar for $95, or bar W/nut and pressure plate for $119, but I doubt he'd sell the extra pressure plate assembly separately for $24 lol.
I've got no idea what George would charge but I'm sure it'd be way less than the frog.
There's also a chance someone here will have the part below in their spare parts as well of course.
The other option of course (which I'd recommend) would be to just get the new half nut first, then try adjusting the carriage and tube etc.
You might be successful with a new nut installed because no amount of trial and error will work with a worn half nut.

Well I can’t do much with payment until Friday anyway.
My folks are on my back about buying groceries (like any necessity should come first) but with inflation so high, eBay doesn’t feel like an option for me for now.
So I’m looking for cheaper alternatives, and this section has really helped me in the past. To find out who’s selling what.

Ok I shot APSCO an Email. The worst thing they can do is not respond.

Welp. APSCO doesn’t have any. So back to the ol’ drawing Board.
eBay might as well be my alternative.
But I’ll ask Thephonographshop next!
