for those of you who don't know, I've been living at the converted victor factory building (#17) in camden, one of just three that remain of the otherwise demolished production complex, for the past year and a half. they hold random events fairly often for people in the building and surrounding community, which is essentially a large redevelopment zone that's doing surprisingly well. we got to talking a few times, he knows of my machines, and he's now interested in organizing some sort of event about the buildings history that would include displays of various machines, ephemera, etc.... either an event just for that, or one perhaps tied into something else, like an art exhibition they're hosting in march.
they actually had something like this last year in the pub in the building, hosted by the writer of that red hardcover book (can't recall the title or the guy's name off-hand) that's become kind of scarce and expensive. I thought of referring the manager to him... might anyone have any suggestions, or be around the area and possibly interested in such a thing?
