I got this Special Rare Gramophone a few monts ago . I knew they made them but never came across one . They Originate from the Woodcarvers of Brienz Americans refer to them as Black Forrest however Black Forrest is a Region in the South of Germany ...but never mind.
They normally are a lot smaller and have a Mechanical music Box inbuilt.
I believe the Gramophone parts are made in St Croix Switzerland known for the famous Thorens . The Horn is wooden and inbuilt , the Sound comes out at the rigth side under the Stairs.
Size is Wide 73 cm dept 51 cm and 44 cm Tall. Double spring Motor .
The Sound is not Great but a a novelity Piece its a whopper.
Datewise 1940s
Regards Martin

Wowsers! It's machines like this that make a collection interesting. A friend has a similarly fabulous machine in the form of an opera house. Congratulations!
