Ok scratch everything I said earlier today. Instead of fussing and trying to take that part off that motor, I took the winding mech off of that eBay motor and installed it on the original motor on the B-19.

After trying to put things together and fussing with the tracking my B-19 now works!!

Congrats on having a working machine! Nothing like the satisfaction of bringing life back to these old phonographs.

If this were mine, I would lower the reproducer a bit more. The limit pin on the weight appears to be hitting the limit wire on the upper housing, and that is causing occasional skipping. Of course the record you're playing is noticeably off center and that doesn't help either.

Lastly, the speed clearly dropped towards the end. Now that you have everything together, don't be afraid to fully wind it. A single spring machine like this is usually fully wound in 30-35 cranks, and should play at least 2 sides.

I hope you enjoy your machine for a long, long time!

I’m definitely not cranking enough! And I didn’t notice that record was off center. The limit pin works fine with other records.
