Re: Wanted : Pigmyphone Record
Just to be clear I'm guessing you want the "Pygmy Gramophone" label?
I don't think I've ever seen an actual "Pygmyphone" record label before, so I don't know if such a label exists.

Re: Wanted : Pigmyphone Record
Im really not sure. I was always under the impression that pigmyphone records have a Bingola label. Of course I can be 100% wrong.

Re: Wanted : Pigmyphone Record
I have several of these records made in France. I think they sold these also in Spain, imported from France, as the Spanish website www.todocoleccion.net has lots of them, at least have had. Take a look at https://www.todocoleccion.net/s/discos-pizarra
They currently have more than 25000 lots in shellac records section.
Sorry, sorry... These I mentioned are French Pygmophone records, not related to the Bing German trade mark.

Re: Wanted : Pigmyphone Record
As far as I know, the two pigmy labels below are what were sold as pigmy phone records.
These images are from the internet.
It was easier to post those rather than hunt for mine.
I haven't come across Bingola records before, but there's a lot I still haven't seen after 40 yrs collecting, so it's quite possible such a label exists.

Re: Wanted : Pigmyphone Record
Interesting.
Apparently the Bingola label was pressed by Grey Gull for the New York branch of Bing, for US made Bingophones.
That probably explains why I've never come across that label before.
The Pigmy gramophone label was pressed by Crystalate in England, who also pressed Kiddyphone records for the Bing Kiddyphone, and the Mimosa label which was sold in Woolworths stores.
