Wanted: Parts to complete VV-VIII

Hello, I was able to acquire a very early VV-VIII serial number 4060. It's in beautiful condition but is missing the motorboard and everything connected to it: motor, turntable, brake and speed regulator.
This is the first version of the VIII with the crank to the front of the case and with the simple thumbscrew speed regulator and scissors-type brake. I'm very fond of the early Victrolas and would like to complete and save this machine if at all possible. It would be great to find all the parts on an original motorboard but I have the skills to replicate the motorboard if the motor and other parts could be found separately. It would be a two spring motor and I am not sure if the same motor was used on other machines however I do have a very early VV-VI and the motor is configured such that it looks like it would be compatible.

I'm hopeful that someone out there on this wonderful forum might have some or all of the parts needed! Thank you, Bob.

The Phonograph Shop website is a good source for the parts you need. Also, the upcoming APS Show is going on this weekend. Depending on your location, it is worth the effort to attend.

Hi- I have a complete, early VV-VIII that's a project machine. The case on mine needs refinishing, but all parts are present. I'll pull it off the shelf later today, but as I recall the motor is fine, nickel plating on turntable and tonearm is good. It's the same as the one you have..crank towards front of case.
