FOR SALE: Edison D-D Shubert - SOLD

Post by AudioAntique »

For Sale is an Edison D-D Shubert introduced in 1927. The brown mahogany finish is in fair condition with some alligatoring present on the outer surfaces. The inside is clean and free of defects. This machine does NOT have its original Edisonic Reproducer but has a standard D-D reproducer with original antique bronze metal finish matching the maching hardware. The double spring motor is in excellent running condition and the machine plays and sounds extremely good with no issues. The two doors open to expose a large wooden grill with original fabric. Record storage for ten records on the top and another ten below. Measurements are 39 ⅜" high X 24 ⅛" wide X 21" deep.

Local pick-up or delivery to Wayne Phono Show ONLY if pre-sold. Possible delivery along way to Wayne. Payment by PayPal (preferred) or check.
Questions or interest, e-mail me at: [email protected] or PM.

Thank you,
Rob

The Schubert model normally came with a single-spring motor. Has this one been retrofitted with another spring barrel?

It’s really easy to do, and it’s a good idea to do it to all your single spring machines!

Might you be passing thru Minnesota on your way to the show?

Thank you for your interest, but since I live in North-East Wisconsin, I'll miss Minnesota traveling east on I-80.
