Interesting Trademark Plaque

Post by Jerry B. »

I bought this at a recent antique sale. It's a heavy cast bronze plaque in great condition. Any idea how it was originally used? Thanks for any suggestions or opinions.

I’ve never seen one like this before. Pretty neat!

Some of the details are imagined, so it's nothing that was officially made. :coffee:

Get creative and mount it to a board to identify your dealer table! ;)

Jerry, Rob and Joan Rolfs' excellent "Nipper Collectibles Vol. 1" shows a photo of an award plaque on pg. 5-52. Mounted on a wooden board with a stick-on name plate, the plaque is identical to yours, other than being silver in color. I think it dates from the late '80s-early 2000s? Hope this helps.

Thanks Steve, I found it exactly where you said. As you mentioned, the color is different but it appears to be the same plaque. Thanks again, this is the Forum at its best!
