GET READY FOR CAMPS 2022

Post by VanEpsFan1914 »

October is here--does that mean raking leaves and Hallowe'en?

It means the Carolina Antique Music and Phonograph Society's Fall Swap Meet is in Mooresville on the 15th of October. That's a week out from now. Spread the word.

See it at Camp Wesley, 3090 Deal Rd., Mooresville, North Carolina.
Opens at ten A.M. and goes to 3 P.M.-- that's five hours of antique phonographs, records, spare parts, that sort of thing.

I'm going--will you be?

It's usually fun! There are often a lot of parts machines, working/restored examples, projects--you name it. It's a great swap. The more people coming to these, the better.

If I didn’t have a wedding to go to I would definitely be making the trip up to the show :(

Hope y’all have fun!

Are there ever any phonograph shows/meets like this closer to Atlanta, GA/montgomery/birmingham AL? Or a list of where and when the major shows happen?

I'm seriously considering a V-1 if you have something, so I'll see you there. I'll be the one driving a white Toyota sedan, and bringing a small client phonograph with a very customized red horn, as well as some other stuff (autographed Johnny Marvin record if I can find it in time to pack the boxes)
