Columbia lyric 2/4 minute reproducer
I have a Columbia BFT that has a 2/4 minute attachment. I believe the reproducer that came with the machine is a 2 minute reproducer. I was wondering if anyone has a photograph of the correct style bar that would be in a Columbia lyric 2/4 minute reproducer. I have seen previous posts but the photos are no longer available.

Did Columbia make a 2&4 minute reproducer? I thought you'd need two reproducers. One for two minute and another for four minute records.

I think Columbia made an intermediate stylus that was capable of playing both 2 and 4 min cylinders.
Never having owned or even examined one, i don't know if it was conical or not?

I have two 2/4 minute Columbia machines and they both use one reproducer. The BO didn't sound very good when I first got it so I had the reproducer rebuilt and it plays both cylinders perfectly.

I'd be interested in seeing a photo of the needle bar too if it's possible for you to take one and post it here.

I think the Lyric 2/4 minute reproducer would've probably had a compromise styus,I can't say for certain. edisonplayer.
