Excellent. Interesting that even on her first test recordings, she used her famous "That's all" sign-off. Also, at the end of the first recording, she seems to apologize for not being at her best, a notion that she carried with her even into the 1972 interview. With regard to her singing, she was like the pretty girl who did not know she was pretty, (which she definitely was!).phonosandradios wrote:I read about how she did her first recordings for Pathé in July 1926 but had never heard them - however after checking on you tube amazingly I found that both of the test recordings are on there to listen to.
