I am considering bidding on one of the cylinder cabinets at Stantons... but am not going to be able to go in person. Is there anyone from the east coast going to the show that might be coming through/close to knoxville on the way back from the show?
Thanks,
David

David,
Hopefully you’ll get a positive response. Otherwise I can suggest uship.com

I saw Stantons does have a shipper they can provide. Does anyone have any experience/knowledge about how good/expensive the shipper they offer is? I too saw a few things that caught my fancy, but not crazy about diving out to Michigan.

I believe they are still using a local PakMail store that does a decent job. Also, Steve Stanton (one of, if not the most helpful auctioneers in the country) knows a lot of people and sometimes can arrange private transport with one of the attending bidders, such as Mike Patella. Most attendees, though, have their vehicles full up and are eager to get home for Thanksgiving, without diversions.
