Scandia self dispensing needle tin
Anyone know if a Scandia needle tin can be refilled? It is oval in shape and when the angled spring loaded top is depressed a needle comes up for use. It still does have a very few needles in it Sorry, I cannot post pictures.

Re: Scandia self dispensing needle tin
I have a feeling that without a picture this may be impossible to answer?
I've done a Google search for
Scandia self dispensing needle tin
Scandia phonograph needle tin
Scandia gramophone needle tin
Scandia needle tin
And the only hit that comes up is this thread, and an image search brings up various ordinary needle tins of different brands but none branded Scandia of any shape or size.
You might have to ask someone, a relative or a neighbour perhaps, to take a picture with their phone, and then email the picture to a member here on the forum you've communicated with in the past, and have them add the photo to this thread for you.
I'd be happy to give you my email to forward it to if you like.
When you've never taken photos and posted them to the forum before, the whole process can be confusing and seem impossible, but most people here will be more than happy to help out if they can.
To be honest I thought someone would have known the Scandia needle tin you're referring to, but then often unusual needle tins were sold under different brand names with different graphics, so with the aid of a picture someone might recognise the tin itself but with completely different printing on the tin.

From the needle tin book. Is the one in the middle the one you have?

I found one other example, online --

Can't for the life of me figure out how it works, unless a needle pops up through the small hole.

OrthoFan. The lid is on an angle and spring loaded, when you press the lid down a needle does come up thru the hole. Still have not figured out how or if it can be reloaded.
