The Jewel-Tone Reproducer and Tone Arm

I have see Jewel attachments before which allow vertical cut records to play on lateral machines and vice versa. I recently came across a Jewel tonearm complete with reproducer that through twists and turns plays both formats.
I know Jewel Phonoparts made just that, parts. By all accounts Jewel Phonoparts were very successful internationally. I've seen Jewel parts in the UK and Australia but I've never seen them permanently fitted to a gramophone. Does anyone here have one of these tonearm fitted to a gramophone?.
I'm surprised by the large size of the tonearm and reproducer.
The compression "Mute" is a bit of silliness but I'd love to hear one of these.

I'm sure it's some sort of pot-metal but the quality is superb with zero signs of swelling or shrinkage and yes, very heavy. The "Non-Y-Ka" diaphragm is also in excellent condition after about a 100 years.
Does anyone know what the diaphragm was made off?.

Graciously they named it after non-mica... so who knows which material was it made of.
