Motor stalling after overhaul of Standard D

There is such a thing as tightening the screws that mount the arbors to the motor casting too tightly. Try backing them off a quarter or half turn or so, leaving them plenty snug but not brutally tight. Over-tightening can throw cast parts into a bind.
