Re: WANTED, early Victor motor, (D, VI, MS…)
The motor for this early Pooley VTLA was an early, bevel gear type, like one from an early VI, MS or D. I think that a 2 spring “M” motor would function and I would be happy to put one of them in as a temporary solution, (hopefully temporary), if I can’t find a 3 spring version.

Re: WANTED, early Victor motor, (D, VI, MS…)
Still looking. The motor does not have to be set up for a yielding turntable or nickel plated. I can take care of that. If someone has an early Victor motor that they are willing to part with, two or three spring, please let me know.
Thanks
Thanks

The motor arrived today and it looks good. I am very grateful for the tip and for the help and advice from others. The new motorboard is coming along well. I am hoping to have the old VTLA playing next week.CharliePhono wrote: Fri Nov 18, 2022 10:15 pmGlad to hear itDjango wrote: Fri Nov 18, 2022 8:22 pm That would be perfect. I wrote to the seller. Fantastic! I had some communication with the seller in the past regarding a machine he had for sale. Seemed like a good fellow.Django wrote: Fri Dec 02, 2022 12:34 pmThe motor arrived today and it looks good. I am very grateful for the tip and for the help and advice from others.
