It used to be thought that Edison Needle (i.e. lateral cut) records were never sold in the UK, but the discovery of some bearing the royalty stamp of the London music publisher Francis, Day & Hunter changed all that. They are nevertheless exceedingly rare over here, and many collectors have never seen one.
By coincidence I have just unearthed this old photocopy of a monthly record list issued by Edison's Export Division, 26 West Broadway, New York. Apologies for the poor quality images which were difficult to enhance.

I found a Spanish advert for the Edison portable P-2, which was a real surprise... the first add I've seen of Edison disc-related business. Never saw any Spanish add of the diamond discs, though. I'll look for it at home later and post it here.
