Reproducer for VV-VI

There is a VV-VI for sale near me with a #2 reproducer. I was under the impression that the VI only came with exhibition reproducers. Was I wrong?

According to all the published sources, "The Victor Data Book," etc., and victor-victrola.com, the VV-VI was shipped with the Exhibition sound box. Of course, since the No. 2 sound box fits the same tonearm, it's an easy swap, and it could have been made anytime by anyone--even by the shop that originally sold the Victrola. If it's in overall good condition and the price is right, I'd go for it.

Thanks for the reply. That is what I thought.

At this time, the price is way too high. I am hoping the seller will drop his price to something more reasonable when it doesn't sell.
