To Tony K and anybody else that takes the time and trouble to post pictures of the phonograph shows:

THANK YOU

I never yet have attended any phonograph show, although oddly I've been to a few similar antique radio events. It's obvious from the pictures that I could burn through an outrageous amount of cash very, very quickly. And one of these days, when I have more than a buck and change in my pockets, I'll get to Union and spend myself silly. Until that day, I can sit at the keyboard and look at the goodies and tell myself: OK, I'll take that one, and that one, and.....

Here are a few examples. Can you guess which one is original?

I'm guessing the horn on the red gem like machine is the original.

Second guess would be the one on the table. Because you do not want to risk

it falling off the machine!

So, how much are the Steve Madara glass horns, and how are they available? Directly from Steve?

Good guess! The one on the red machine is the only original.

They start at 375.00 for the gem size. I am working on other shapes and sizes. I will have some for sale at the Union show in June.

Are your glass horns based on historic originals or are the forms and colours freely found?

Steve,

Could you please share pictures of what you currently have available?

I wrote an article for CAPS a few years ago about glass horns. I'd like to compare notes sometime.

Thanks,
Scott
