Sorry to hear the news. He helped me, and countless others, with many projects over the years. He will be truly missed.

Terrible news. I knew Dwayne for over 30 years. I loved that every time I talked to him -- and I really mean every time -- he was cheerful and upbeat. And helpful. Just an all around nice guy, in every sense. I turned to him for every major repair -- spring replacements, brazing broken motor plates, or whatever issue was beyond my skill or tools. He always did great work and charged a modest price. I have fond memories of visiting him and Donna at their idyllic home in Lakeport, CA. Definitely one of the kindest souls I've been privileged to know.

Very sad to hear. Dwayne was very kind and patient with me as I was learning to repair an early Standard motor. God bless him and his family.

Dwayne was a fine repairman and helpful friend. He helped me with many projects and was always ready for reliable phone conversations. I particularly enjoyed chatting with him at the California Phonograph Shows in years past. Blessings to Dwayne and Donna and their family. Stan Stanford, Portland, OR

Very sad to hear of Dwayne’s passing. I have dealt with him since 1993. He has always been cheerful and helpful. He replaced the mainsprings in my spring barrels for the motor of quality motor back in 1994. They still work great! He was able to machine a new turntable spindle for my Talk-O-Phone and add the pins.

RIP Dwayne!

Dwayne was a top shelf individual. It's a sorrowful thing to hear of his passing. Two of the main parts suppliers gone. The hobby will be undergoing some major changes in the next few years.

It was my great pleasure to have spoken to Dwayne about a year ago. He was very helpful and very down to earth. It was a simple conversation he asked what I wanted to do then proceed to inform me for the next 30 to 40 minutes on why I shouldn't invest so much time in this project. Then like a true professional he informed me that another person is better than him in this and gave me his information. What a great person and what a professional businessman. It is a great loss but it was a great pleasure to have spoken to him. To his family our condolences.
