Leather Front Credenza

Post by FloridaClay »

Hello all,

How rare are the Credenza Orthophonics with the tooled leather front panels and does anybody have a good idea of what a decent one would go for when they do come up? Just curious. My Victor books don't break Credenza production down to that level of detail, so I have no idea how many were made.

They're pretty uncommon, but not super rare. There are no records extant as to how many were made, but Bob Baumbach once posited to me that he guessed about 500 might have been made. They seem to range from 1000-3000, depending on many factors (and chance).

Here is my tooled leather panel 8-30X.

Thanks Adam. And a very handsome example you have.
