A visit with Rick Shindle of Belfast farm

Post by Ben the phono man »

On Sunday I made the three and a half hour drive to Rick Shindle's house in waynesboro Pa to pick up a VE-8-35x in excellent shape (only missing 3 10 inch albums!) While there, i inquired about the other machines in his wonderful collection. He first showed me extra parts he had in his outbuilding, and let me take home a Bob roberts cylinder as well! He had some incredible stuff I had never seen before in person including a sonora supreme (absolutely incredible for people who haven't seen one in person) My buddy managed to snap a few pictures before we left, It was a heap of fun! I've been invited back... Thanks to Rick and Julia for the nice time and their hospitality.
