WOW!!! These are getting better and better. Keep them coming. Is the return string weight driven or is it extending a spring?

Thanks Ken.

Its actually damper - a weight inside a cylinder that uses airpressure to dampen the weights drop, making the return much more graceful.

Great machine, great video. I showed the video to my wife (today is also our 33rd wedding anniversary) and told her I would try to get her one for a gift for 2024's St. Valentine's Day. I don't think I need to repeat her response here, but it sure wasn't "Oh Goody"!

I am very fortunate to have a tollerant, and supportive wife when it comes to the hobby. But I agree, Raphael. A phonograph would be a worse present than the recycling bin I got her our first year of marriage. That was an epic fail.
