Diamond Disc record promotion schedule

A local sale pictured this.
Having never seen anything like it before, I thought I'd share it.

Thanks for sharing this. I wonder if this was the "Edison Collector Club" from which the Edison DD cabinet could also be purchased. On second thought, maybe not, as I think that was a monthly purchase program and not a lending one. If someone knows, please inform me. I've always wanted to see the ballot with the favorite selections of "ten prominent men and women" to see who the other nine were, besides Harding. This is from an old eBay listing; I don't own this booklet.

Hmmm...selected from Mr. Edison's favorites--even to get a handsome record cabinet, I'm not sure I'd want 60 recordings of "I'll Take You Home Again, Kathleen." ;)

 In the interest of the joke, I checked. I was surprised to find that it seems the title was only released FOUR times on Diamond Disc! I really was expecting it to be higher!

Maybe the customers shared that sentiment (or the price of the cabinet and subscription were too high) as those Edison Diamond Disc cabinets aren't often found.
