Hi Everyone,

I have for sale a mahogany Victor VV-XVI, Serial number 97189-G which dates it to 1914. It is the type with the short lived exposed speed indicator in the back at the 11 o'clock position. This model doesn't turn up too often. It is missing the speed indicator pointer but I have one that will fit.
The phonograph works and has a fully serviced motor. The Exhibition reproducer will need new gaskets. Cosmetically, the machine needs a good cleaning; it has a few dings here and there but overall is in pretty good shape. There are 2 small areas where the veneer is starting to lift off on the bottom doors but that should be an easy fix.

There are two extra 3 spring motors that will come with the machine (pictured). One of them has a damaged gear and cracked bed plate but you'll be able to make an extra motor with the 2. I can also give you a a nice stack of early 12" opera records if you wish.

I am disabled with limited mobility and unable to deliver this item. It is available for pick-up in Staten Island, NY, close to Verrazano Bridge. It will need to come down one flight of steps; I can help some but if you want to bring a helper, so much the better.
