I dropped the reproducer heavily onto a static cylinder - and a bit of the cylinder 'splintered off' - leaving a 'gouge'.
Is there any way to repair this 'hole' using some kind of glue or filler ?
Can I repair the phonograph cylinder ?

Sound like it's deep and you don't want the stylus banging over it until it passes.
I wonder if you could take some wax off the inner edge the cylinder, jab it with a pin, heat it and drip it into the hole. Just a thought. I've never tried this.
