Is it just me?!?!?

I recently bought some phonographs and records. There was a box of 30 black wax records. When I was going through them, one slipped out of the cylinder box bottom when I lifted it out. It of course fell to the floor and broke. It was in the best condition of all of them before I broke it. It was the only record of any interest or value. The rest were either moldy or nothing special to listen to.

I had the same thing happen to me with a batch of clean Busy Bee cylinders --- the bottom detached from one box, and crash went the cylinder .

Truly sorry for your loss, but them's the breaks ...

Murphy’s Law again! You got my condolences, this looks like one of those things I think exclusively happens to me!

I’ve almost broken records when I’ve pick them up and was unpleasantly surprised that the bottoms of the boxes were missing, but I was able to catch them in time!
