Sadly, I have to agree, which is why I've severely cut back on watching and reading the daily news (AKA Daily Disasters).

I would not advise going in there & leaving comments where your YouTube stuff is visible; it's just as well not to be visible to these kinds of people especially since it is most unlikely we actually change anyone's mind. Best to protect your privacy considering his clientele.

Okay! uncomfortable case of too much information coming up but for some people, crushing things is a sexual fetish/kink and that looks like what's going on here. Best to not expose your YouTube handles to weirdos.

It's a paraphilia where people are aroused by objects being crushed, or fantasizing about the idea of being crushed (like, the individual person.) Based on the evidence, everything says he's producing content for "object crush" which, while not good for the survival of a 1926 Decca portable, is less objectively harmful than crushing insects, fish, small vertebrates. The explanation, much like the explanation for most other weird stuff, is that sad and strange people like to have a wank to it.

But if you read the comments, not while you're eating, you'll notice the comments on his boots and the "so hot" attitude by a couple people in there who aren't the phonograph collectors griping at him. Save your breath. You don't change people like this; he's going to keep being weird. Also, I had a hunch that his channel subscription list would be fairly lewd. It was. There is a large percentage of crush-fetish channels that he's subscribed to--He's a sick puppy when the best I can say is "At least he hasn't moved on to puppies."

Well, and just to piss off people like that I think I'm probably going to go bring some phonographs back to life.

Don't even click on the link. The whole point is trying to generate traffic. Sadly, I clicked, and watched the first minute. It's just some @sshat stomping on a Decca portable. He has a whole 1.5k views over the past year, and 109 subscribers. Don't give him the traffic. As the saying goes, "don't feed the trolls"
