People usually show up early in the morning, around 8 AM.

Folks,

I want to personally, and publically thank Mike who puts on this show. The show is actually Sunday, but Mike supports a parking lot event on Saturday. It is no easy task to put on a show. There is no financial reward, it is done for the love of the hobby.

Before Mike, Lynn Bilton and Paul Baker both had shows at different times. Through lots of hard work by these pillars in our hobby, weve come to enjoy the phonograph show. In the Midwest, the Donleys did the same. Again, it made a special place to gather and enjoy our hobby.

Great job!! And Thank you all!!!!

I second Shawn’s post! I was planning on coming down but I’m too busy with restorations to take a weekend off this time.

The first show that I attended was In Cranford, NJ, The Music Box Show (was it named back then?) ----met a lot of good people, sadly so many have passed away. That is truly what makes a show, the regulars that are there to feed the phonograph addiction within us---as those that will be missed with this show, venders as well as the acquaintances. On the lighter side way back when---I went to the show to find info. on my first acquisition ----a Celestina crank organette. AND then the downhill snowball effect came into existence with the purchase of some 6" & 7" Emerson records from a dealer---Art Wohl. Hope the rain doesn't hinder the attendance at the Show.

More people should realize how much work is done behind the scenes to put on a show. The amount of hours and expense involved would is surprising to most attendees.

A shame they have crappy weather the entire day. Makes everything difficult from start to finish. A lot of work and prep by everyone involved.

Even though I wasn't able to make it, this has been one of the nastiest weekends we've had weather-wise for a long time in the mid-Atlantic. Hope everyone was able to get their gear out without any water damage.

No doubt, it was a nasty weekend weather wise. But, I had been looking forward to the show for months and rain wasn't going to stop me. A handful of guys were even there at the parking lot meet on Saturday despite the rain. Sunday during the set-up time the rain mercifully slacked off a little. I saw some friends, bought some things and had a great time! :D
