I have a very nicely rebuilt gold plated Orthophonic reproducer for sale from about 1930. This one has "RCA Victor" embossed in the reproducer body, and I believe this was originally intended for use on one of the portable Orthophonic models judging by the felt cover. These late model reproducers are especially well-regarded since they do not have a tendency to crumble and split apart like many of the earlier pot metal ones, and this one will fit on any Orthophonic tonearm. The gold finish has held up rather well on the front, although there is some tarnishing on the sides from 90+ years of normal use (see photos). It sounds absolutely wonderful when playing, with lots of volume, rumbling bass and clear highs. No rattles, buzzes or squawks!
$200 includes priority shipping to the lower 48 states and a money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied. I accept PayPal or (for local buyers only) cash - no personal checks or wire transfers, please! Make your Orthophonic Victrola sing like it should with this reproducer - PM me if interested!
