Seems like this could be a good deal: https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva ... 15229.html.
The reproducer is obviously very, very wrong, and it's hard to get a good view of the tonearm, turntable, etc.

Re: Victor XX-IV Queen Anne, $150
Just a gentle correction. It's a VV-XIV (Victor Victrola XIV). Yes, it's a very early and desirable example and well worth the money.

The XIV's are also great-sounding victrolas generally. If you get it, an Exhibition reproducer isn't hard to find, but the 1940s portable reproducer is actually a nice accessory for listening to later records. I've done that now & then on my later-variant XIV (the more conventional cabinet) and it was pretty cool.
Go for it.
Go for it.

Oh, I already have one more floor model than I have room for. Some other lucky soul will have to get this one. (I also have an extra exhibition reproducer that I rebuilt a few years ago, but it takes up less room than a VV-XIV!)
