Limit Excelsis reproducer
Ok I couldn't resist and bought this yesterday. I can't find any videos or information on this reproducer. I've looked through Google and YouTube and nothing. I did a general search in this forum and also nothing. I understand it was made in England and its a aftermarket reproducer for Victor phonographs. All I want to know is if anyone has come across this and if so how does it play? Thank you all.

Re: Limit Excelsis reproducer
The Limit soundbox is fairly common in the UK. The one in the photo is their high-end model, the Excelsis. In terms of sound reproduction, I have a couple of them, one being the Excelsis, and I found both mediocre: a Victor orthophonic is much better, as an example.

Re: Limit Excelsis reproducer
Thank you for the information I really appreciate it. I collect oddball reproducers that I can display with the small collection of photographs I have. The goal is to collect about 20 and put them in a shadow box and hang it on my wall. Thank a lot for the information.
