Mixing HMV winding handles

I last summer restored a HMV 157, and while doing that I removed the winding key eschutcheon to fasten it better etc. During the process I have mislaid the handle
I have searched "everywhere" but the only extra big HMV winding handle I could find, was this handle. I know it does not belong to a 157, since I have two 157 machines, and the other handle looks different, not so long. I was able to find the missing eschutcheon for the 157, that I also removed last year, it was in the plastic bag along with the pictured handle, so I guess, they (maybe) are from the same machine.
I tried to use the HMG book, but could not really discover what machine this handle belongs to, I tested it on the 157s 32 motor, and it fits there, so it must be a 32 or 34 operated machine, but which machine(s)? Before putting it back into its bag, I would like to label it. I normally label all parts, or put a label inside the plastic bag, but of course I had not done so this time...

Given it's length, it probably belonged to a horizontal grand or console, such as the HMV261 pictured.

I have a HMV 251 in my storage locker, that I will restore this summer. This is the only HMV console in my possession. It was situated in my sitting room for a couple of years, unserviced, I must have switched the winding handle from the 251 with the 157. I remember there is a winding handle put on top of the turntable of the 251 in the locker, and it must be the one belonging to the 157.
You saved my day now, and weekend...I could not really understand where this winding handle came from...
We can have a look at the 251 later on, when I have collected it from the locker, it is probably a machine we don't see too often.

That's not from a console, it's too small. Probably from a 103 or 104. The 103 winder is 7 1/2inches from tip to bend, and has a throw of about 2 ¾ in. The thread is common to any of the 1920s HMV motors, not just the 32 and 34.

A 157 winder is 6 in. along the straight, with 4 ½ in. throw.

Yes, it's nowhere near long enough for a console machine but might it not also be from a 460 Lumiere model?

The mystery is now solved. I had forgotten I had to throw to waste a 103 last year, and of course kept the handle, and different parts. The 103 has this small motor, that requires a somewhat longer handle, as you also state. I also now will remember the thread also fits different motors from the 20s, not only the 32 and 34 motors.
Steve, I wish I had a 460 Lumiere in my collection, I have unfortunately not yet seen anyone for sale here.
