Re: Grey HMV102
In my humble opinion, the most attractive of the 102 models.

Re: Grey HMV102
It took me many years to find one. Here it is before and after restoration.
It needed a chrome No.16 soundbox to replace the Florentine Bronze one fitted, a better winding handle and new turntable felt.
The shade of felt is on the light side, but it was the nearest match I could find.

Re: Grey HMV102
I reckon most of the greys ended up on the continent as there is no shortage of them over there whilst here they were apparently unpopular. So much for so-called British tastes.
I bought a grey 102 missing it's tray so I had to buy a brown felt covered one and very similar to Roger, the only felt I could find was too light so I had to remove the grey original felt off the turntable so both would match. So far so good.........Then along came an original grey covered 102 tray on Ebay! Who'd have ever thought? There's a lesson there somewhere.
Yes, I did save the original felt off the turntable so now I've got to remove my handiwork and careful gluing to put it back as it was. You have to love this hobby of ours sometimes!
