Here's video using one of my favorite products - WD-40 and Scotchbrite pads...

Surely a brillo pad too often on an aluminum horn will quickly reduce the thickness of the horn?

There shouldn't be any noticeable wear from polishing an aluminum horn or any other parts - they are thick enough to withstand cleaning and polishing without concern. A Brillo pad is essentially steel wool and Scotchbrite pads are a synthetic material - neither are similar to sandpaper...Sidewinder wrote: Sat Jul 15, 2023 4:33 pm Surely a brillo pad too often on an aluminum horn will quickly reduce the thickness of the horn?
